Meanwhile, at the cliff house, Steffy is trying to get in touch with Finn, but the calls aren't going through. Liam, Steffy's ex, is disappointed because he had plans to take Kelly to Venice for the day. However, after seeing Finn hugging Sheila, Liam becomes concerned about his judgment and is worried about Kelly's safety.

Steffy and Liam discuss Sheila's sudden reappearance, and Liam can't get past the fact that she is now free after Bill's efforts to keep her locked away. Steffy, on the other hand, can't bear to talk about Sheila anymore and assures Liam that Finn has always been loyal and loving to her and their daughter.

Liam's phone keeps buzzing with work-related issues, but he remains preoccupied with thoughts of Sheila's dark past. He recalls the day Kelly was born, and the profound love he felt, vowing to protect Steffy and their daughter at any cost. Steffy, despite trusting Finn, understands Liam's concerns and appreciates his vigilance.

After Liam leaves, Finn and Kelly return to the cliff house. Steffy is horrified to learn that Kelly almost drowned but is relieved to find out that Sheila was the one who saved her. Finn explains the events on the beach and how he rushed to get Kelly, only to find Sheila coming to the rescue.

Steffy, enraged that Finn left their daughter alone for a minute, demands to know why Sheila was there in the first place. Finn stands his ground, expressing gratitude for Sheila's life-saving actions. This revelation leaves Steffy in shock and struggling to catch her breath.

Meanwhile, in his apartment, Deacon contemplates Sheila's plans to reconnect with her son, Finn. Just then, Sheila arrives, revealing how she saved Kelly's life at the beach. Deacon realizes the gravity of her actions and acknowledges the miracle she pulled off.

Back at Spencer Publications, Liam recalls his conversation with Steffy for his day off. Wyatt joins him and assumes that Steffy must have kicked Finn out after seeing him hugging his mother. However since Liam did not get the reaction from Steffy that he expected as they dont share the same biases , Wyatt question Steffy's reaction to the couthouse situation
