BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL THURSDAY 9/21/23 RECAP: Li convinces Finn to cut ties with Sheila, Douglas Brings Hope & Thomas Together, and Deacon ends it with Sheila after a Close call with Hope!

 

Love, Lies, and Matchmaking: B&B Recap Thurs, Sept 21

Welcome back to another juicy recap of "The Bold and the Beautiful"! Buckle up because things are heating up, love is in the air, and a little matchmaker named Douglas is pulling all the strings.

**Deacon and Sheila's Close Call:**

We start with a bang as Deacon and Sheila are hanging out in his apartment. Just when things are getting cozy, Hope shows up unannounced. Deacon freaks out and hustles Sheila into the bathroom. Sheila, being the sly one, eavesdrops as Deacon tells Hope he was just about to take a shower. Smooth, right?

Hope's there to check in, but Douglas, the little mastermind, wants a family dinner with the merman (that's Deacon). Hope and Deacon chat about life, love, and co-parenting, which sounds sterile to Hope, but hey, you take what life throws at you. They embrace, and just in the nick of time, Hope leaves, giving Sheila a chance to escape from the bathroom. Phew, that was close!

**Deacon Makes a Tough Choice:**

After Hope leaves, Deacon and Sheila have a heart-to-heart. Deacon realizes they can't continue this dangerous game. He chooses Hope, as much as he loves Sheila's uniqueness and charm. Sheila understands, though it's clear she doesn't want it to end. They both get emotional, but Sheila is determined to build a good relationship with Finn, who is, by the way, her son. 

**Li and Finn's Motherly Advice:**

Meanwhile, over at the cliffhouse, Li is having a serious talk with Finn. She knows Finn needs to cut Sheila out of his life if he wants to keep Steffy and the kids. She's not happy that Sheila, whom she calls a psychopath, is even in their lives. Li reminds Finn that he's the only one who can get through to Sheila and end her madness. Finn is determined not to let Sheila ruin things for him, but Li knows Sheila has a hold on him that he needs to break.

Li tells Finn he can't sleep without Steffy and encourages him to find a solution to get Sheila out of his life once and for all. Finn takes his mother's advice to heart and is determined to figure it out.

**Douglas the Matchmaker:**

And now, for the sweetest part of the episode. Douglas, the adorable young matchmaker, is on a mission. He's with Thomas at the CEO office, and he's in awe of his father's sketches. Douglas wants his parents to reunite, and he suggests a family picnic to watch the sunset because he knows his mom is happiest when the family is together.

Thomas reminds Douglas that sometimes things take time and patience, especially because his mom is going through a lot. Douglas agrees but is clearly on a mission.

Later, when Thomas arrives home, he finds a romantic scene set up with candles and a tidy house. Hope arrives, thinking Thomas had sent her a message. They soon realize they've been set up by none other than Douglas himself! Thomas and Hope can't help but smile at each other, realizing that together, they make each other better.

Douglas, the little matchmaker, grins as he watches his plan unfold. Looks like love is in the air, and it's all thanks to this young cupid!
