Phyllis runs into Billy at Crimson Lights and shares that she's lost a job. Billy questions the timing, given her legal fees and insurance payout. He suggests that she might make impulsive decisions when backed into a corner, referencing her past with Tucker. Phyllis hints at their past affair, leaving Billy somewhat uncomfortable.

Summer and Chance at Society**

Chance, in high spirits, shares the news of becoming the new chief of police with Summer at Society. They embrace, and Summer offers to treat him to lunch. They discuss his nervousness, and Summer provides him with a pep talk.

Nikki and Nick at Newman Enterprises**

Nikki and Nick discuss Victoria's actions against Victor. Nikki is frustrated and worries about Victoria's intentions. Nick is concerned but hesitant to return to Newman Enterprises due to conflicts with Nate and Adam. Nikki encourages him to talk to Victor to gauge his father's state of mind.

Tucker's Ultimatum to Phyllis**

Tucker refuses to pay Phyllis the additional 20% "aggravation fee," leading to a tense standoff. Phyllis remains determined and Tucker warns that if he goes down, she will too. Tucker receives a call from Leanna Love, seeking a scoop about his marriage, and he provides her with a juicy rumor about Billy Abbott.

Summer, Chance, and Nick at Society**

Summer and Chance share their close friendship at Society. Nick questions their relationship and is surprised when Summer asks him to give Phyllis a job. He's uncertain but agrees to speak with Sharon about it.
