WEDNESDAY 11/8/23 YOUNG & THE RESTLESS SPOILERS/RECAP: Chance Has Been Shot, Nate believes that Victoria's Loyalty Lies with Adam, Phyllis' Quest for Enlightenment From Danny!

Danny's got a dinner date with their son, which leaves Danny wondering why she's so hung up on Christine. Danny suggests they all have dinner together, but will that be a recipe for disaster?

**Nina and Christine's Chit-Chat:**

Meanwhile, at Society, Nina and Christine catch up. They discuss Chance and their special connection with Danny. Nina, being the instigator, hopes to see Phyllis publicly humiliated. But Christine clarifies that it was just some piano playing, nothing more. Nina thinks there's more to the story, but Christine is cautious about diving into anything with her complicated history. Nina, ever the romantic, believes it's destiny.

**Chloe's Workplace Woes:**

Over at Crimson Lights, Chloe is having a meeting with Summer, and it's clear they don't see eye to eye. Chloe's had enough of butting heads with their boss. Chelsea tries to play the peacemaker and insists that creative differences can be productive. However, Chloe disagrees, believing that Summer is just too hands-on. She's feeling like a third wheel, and that's not where she wants to be. Chelsea is puzzled by this sudden change, but Chloe is resolute. When Summer leaves to take a call, Chloe spills the beans - she's out of there. She's done with this job. Chloe even reminisces about a collaboration with Sally, which reminded her of how teamwork should feel. It's time for her to move on, but will Chelsea be okay with this sudden decision?

**Emergency at the Hospital:**

Nikki, feeling caught in the middle, didn't want to tell Victoria about Victor's plan. Nate tries to defend himself, but Victor isn't having it. He walks out, leaving Victoria to apologize to Nate. However, Nate believes that Victoria's loyalty lies with Adam and accuses her of betraying him.

**Family Fallout:**

Victoria returns to the rest of the family and shares her grievances about her father's swift decision. Victor reiterates that Nate was planning to have him committed. Nikki backs up the claim, suggesting that Nate was angling for power so Victoria could become CEO. Victoria is torn between her father and her anger. She questions whether she can ever forgive him for this betrayal and walks out, leaving Nikki to say, "I told you so."

**Adam's New Path:**

Meanwhile, Victor assures Adam that he's as lucid as ever, and Adam is curious about what's next. It seems like Adam's loyalty to Victor has paid off, but Nick isn't so thrilled. Victor wants Nick back at the company, but Nick warns him that this might be the final straw for Victoria.

As Nate sit at the bar his phone pings, he sees its Victoria, making it clear he's done talking to Victoria by not responding to her text. He text Devon and opts to chat with him instead.
