BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL WEDNESDAY 1/17/24 RECAP: Wyatt Tells Bill He's Leaving Town, Li Calls Poppy a Goldigger, Eric Learns of His Release!

 

Today on "The Bold and the Beautiful," Li gives Poppy a stern talking-to about her date with Bill Spencer, while the Forrester family celebrates Eric's upcoming release from the hospital.

In his office at the hospital, Finn embraces Steffy, offering her a sense of security. They reflect on the chaotic events of their lives but choose to focus on the positive. Steffy expresses her gratitude for Finn's miraculous abilities, especially in bringing her grandfather back to life. They share a tender moment, and Steffy showers Finn with praise for his incredible and amazing qualities.

Meanwhile, at Eric's hospital room, he's growing restless but is delighted to have RJ and Luna visiting him. Expressing his eagerness to go home and reunite with Donna, Eric appreciates the newfound connections within the family. RJ refers to Eric as a living miracle, and just as Luna receives a message on her phone, Finn and Steffy arrive with the news—Eric will be going home tomorrow. Overjoyed, Eric sheds tears of happiness, expressing his anticipation of feeling the sun on his face and hearing his grandkids' laughter around the pool. Steffy, Finn, and Luna share in the emotional moment, with Steffy thanking Finn for saving her grandfather's life.

Meanwhile, Poppy is in the Forrester design room, taking a call from Bill, who misses her. Bill suggests a date, but Poppy hopes to spend time with Luna tonight. Bill proposes a date tomorrow at Il Giardino, which Poppy accepts. Li, Poppy's sister, interrupts, demanding an explanation for Luna's presence. Li disapproves of Luna dating RJ, Steffy's brother.

Li accuses Luna of being a gold digger, criticizing her relationship with RJ and insinuating that Luna targets men with money. Li believes Poppy follows the same pattern and judges her sister for not having a "real" job. Poppy defends herself, denying any ulterior motives in her relationships. Luna arrives, revealing that Li called her a gold digger. The sisters bond over their frustration with Li's judgment, emphasizing that their hearts guide their choices.

Wyatt arrives at the beach house, contemplating a change, possibly moving out of the beach house or even leaving L.A. Bill, though reluctant, supports Wyatt's decision. Wyatt appreciates the memories in the beach house and mentions finding a renter Bill might approve of. Bill, excitedly, describes his encounter with Poppy at a music festival, expressing his admiration for her beauty and mystery. Wyatt is surprised by Bill's romantic escapade but is glad his dad isn't trying to win Katie back. Bill hints at a potential future with Poppy, and Wyatt acknowledges the possibility of a new and unexpected chapter.
